Thorburn Dominion Houses is a residential development and property company based in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. We build, renovate, and steward homes with the conviction that a house should outlast the people who built it.
A house is a long promise.
Most residential development is built to a schedule and sold to a buyer. We build to a different standard. A house should still be standing — and still be worth living in — a hundred years after the last nail is driven. That conviction shapes everything we do.
Thorburn Dominion Houses works across the full life of a residential property: acquisition, design, construction, renovation, and long-term stewardship. We are not a volume builder. We are a small company that takes on a limited number of projects at a time, and finishes them properly.
